These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of the mobile application "Pointia" (the "App") provided by YokkoLab (operated by Satoshi Yokokawa) (the "Operator", "we", "us").
These Terms apply to all matters relating to your use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The App is a location-log application that lets you save your favorite places to the map as "save points" at any time you choose, and attach photos and notes. Using the party feature, you can share your save points with people who join a party via its invite code.
Sign-in to the App starts anonymously. You may optionally link a Google account or Apple ID to preserve your save history across devices. You are responsible for the security of your device and any party invite codes you hold.
The App offers some features via a paid Premium plan (monthly / yearly, with a free trial). Billing, renewal, and cancellation are subject to the terms and settings of the App Store and Google Play. Free trials automatically convert to a paid subscription unless canceled.
If we determine that content posted or uploaded by a user (custom adventurer images, photos, notes, etc.) violates this article or infringes the rights of third parties, we may remove such content without prior notice and, where necessary, suspend the user's account.
If you find inappropriate content, please report it via the in-app report feature or by contacting support@yokkolab.com. We will review reports and take action, in principle, within 5 business days.
Location data recorded by the App is an estimate based on GPS and may contain errors depending on the environment. Do not rely on the App for emergencies or situations involving human life or safety.
You represent that you have the necessary rights for any notes, photos, or nicknames you enter, and grant us a license to use them to the extent necessary to provide and improve the App. Content posted to a party is shared with members of that party.
The App is provided "as is". We make no warranty as to its accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the App.
We may restrict or suspend your use of the App without prior notice if you breach these Terms. You may stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
We may revise these Terms as needed. Revised Terms take effect when posted on this page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any disputes relating to the App.
